What Are Islamic Beliefs and Why Are They Important?
Islamic beliefs, known as Aqeedah, are the core beliefs that every Muslim must hold. They are the foundation of our faith. Aqeedah comes from the Arabic word "Aqada" which means to tie, to fasten, to hold firmly. These are the beliefs that tie our hearts to Allah.
The six pillars of Iman (faith) are:
