Part 1: Fiqh for Women

This part covers the essential Islamic rulings that every woman needs to know. You will learn the fiqh of purification, prayer, fasting, and other matters specifically related to women.

Topics covered:

  • Purification (Taharah) for women
  • Menstruation (Hayd) and post-natal bleeding (Nifas) – complete rulings
  • Ghusl and its correct method
  • Prayer during menstruation and other situations
  • Fasting rules for women (pregnancy, breastfeeding, menstruation)
  • Hijab and modest dress
  • Women's rights in marriage
  • Women's rights in divorce
  • Rulings about being a wife and mother
  • Women attending the mosque

This part is taught from authentic sources with practical explanations.

Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 months with 2 classes per week.

Part 2: Surahs Related to Women

You will study the complete translation and Tafseer of all Surahs that relate to women's lives. This includes both Surahs that are named after women and Surahs that address women's issues.

Surahs covered:

  • Surah Al-Mujadilah (The Woman Who Disputes) – complete translation and Tafseer
  • Surah Maryam – complete translation and Tafseer
  • Surah An-Nisa (The Women) – selected verses related to women's rights and responsibilities
  • Surah Al-Ahzab – verses about the Mothers of the Believers and hijab
  • Surah At-Talaq – verses about divorce and waiting period
  • Surah Al-Baqarah – verses about menstruation, marriage, and divorce
  • Other Surahs with verses addressing women

For each Surah, you will learn:

  • Word by word translation
  • Context of revelation
  • Tafseer from authentic sources
  • Practical lessons for modern life

Duration: Approximately 6 to 8 months with 2 classes per week.

Part 3: Female Figures in the Quran

In this part, you will study the lives of all the women mentioned in the Quran. You will learn their stories, their struggles, and the lessons we can take from them.

Topics covered:

  • Sayyidah Maryam (Mary) – the only woman named in the Quran
  • The wives of Prophet Adam
  • The wife of Prophet Nuh
  • The wife of Prophet Lut
  • The Queen of Sheba (Bilqis)
  • The wife of Fir'aun (Asiya)
  • The mother of Prophet Musa
  • The sister of Prophet Musa
  • The wife of Prophet Ibrahim
  • The woman who complained to the Prophet ﷺ (Surah Al-Mujadilah)

For each figure, you will study the relevant Quranic verses with word-by-word translation and simple Tafseer.

Duration: Approximately 4 to 6 months with 2 classes per week.

Part 4: Aqeedah and Spiritual Development for Women

This part focuses on strengthening your faith and developing your relationship with Allah. You will learn the core beliefs of Ahlus Sunnah and practical ways to grow spiritually as a woman.

Topics covered:

  • The names and attributes of Allah – understanding who Allah is
  • The role of women in worshipping Allah
  • How to increase khushu in prayer
  • Building a relationship with the Quran
  • Dhikr and duas for women
